My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centred. I recognize each person’s unique strengths and potential for growth. Therapy offers a supportive space to explore experiences, gain insight, and develop practical tools for change. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. My style is integrative and flexible, drawing from various evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s needs and goals. I help clients understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and develop strategies that support resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change. I view therapy as a partnership, working together to clarify goals, address challenges, and enhance well-being.

I take an integrative, client-centred approach, using evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s goals and needs. I frequently incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. I also use Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I also use Motivational Interviewing to address ambivalence, strengthen motivation, and support meaningful change. Solution-focused therapy guides clients in identifying strengths, setting goals, and implementing practical solutions.I tailor the therapeutic process to each individual, ensuring our work is collaborative, culturally sensitive, and aligned with the client’s values and priorities.

Clients can expect a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment. I foster strong therapeutic relationships to ensure clients feel safe sharing at their own pace. Through collaboration, we address challenges, set goals, and develop strategies for meaningful change.I ensure clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. I offer practical tools and insights for daily use. Because each experience is unique, I tailor therapy to individual needs, strengths, and backgrounds, supporting resilience, self-awareness, and healthier coping skills.

I chose this profession because I am committed to supporting people through life’s challenges and helping them build healthier, more fulfilling lives. My interest in human behaviour, emotions, and how people find meaning in their experiences led me to counselling, where I can support personal growth and well-being. I value the opportunity to support individuals as they navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and develop skills for resilience and positive change. Creating a space where people feel heard, understood, and empowered continues to make this work meaningful to me.
